Did you know that the word "alphabet" came from the words alpha(α) and beta(β). Lol. Maybe I am the only one who is excited about this fact, well, I have known this for a long time, just wanted to share it. ~~Nvm.~~

Just wanted to say that life in unexpected and obviously very tragic. Less than a month ago, we saw Japan suffering from one natural disaster to another. I feel for them and hope the survivors will be able to look at life positively and always pray and have faith for a better tomorrow.

Pray for Japan, Myanmar, and for everyone suffering in this world, do not forget your own self.

Always live life happily and do not be upset for too long. At the end of the day, always remember the good in this world and all those in it.

Can you imagine if life was like a black and white TV screen. All we would see is a shade of black and everything would just seem like a sketch. What would be the colour of a rainbow? The green grass and the blue sky?

Everyday, whether it begins great or terribly, at the end of the week, you would realize that, "Hey, that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Then, we'd prepare ahead for a rough week, and as though we were being played with, it will be bumpy, but unexpectedly good in a way... Honestly "speaking", I don't even know whether what I am typing here is connected to one another.. When I think about it, It just comes and I just type it out, spontaneous blogging, lol.

Anyway, Form 5 life? Busy as Form 4 but more hectic. Its a challenge. But hey! God never gives us a problem that we can't solve. He gives us a problem to strengthen us and make us better people. Although we never realize it, whether we're lonely or surrounded by others, there is someone watching. lol. It might sound so, "Whatever." to some, but thats how I see it. Haha, anyway, I am just blurting out anything that I feel so.. =)

Everyone has definitely felt like a complete imbecile by doing something very dumb, rash, or even doing absolutely nothing. Honestly, I feel and felt like I was being compressed and was lifting the sky on my shoulders. But, no one can change the past now can we. We just have to live with whatever regrets we have, look at the bright side, concentrated on the good things and keep moving forward. My inspiration ‘Meet the Robinsons’, Thank you Disney! Well, now I feel so much better writing all this down and evaluating my problem. Well, it’s quite weird to “learn from your mistakes when you type it out and read about it. Well, by now you’d be thinking either very softly or very loudly, “What the heck is she crapping?”. Well, =D I warned you that I not a ~~wonderfulgreatprofesionalgoodblogger .~~

Holidays! Yea... As though you didn't know, its now the 4th day of the year-end holidays for us.. Mostly students under the age of 20 =)

Anyway, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1 just released on Thursday, 18/11/2010. Yes, thursday! I thought it was gonna be released on the 19th of November *points at the poster and stares at 11.19* . If you don't know anything about the Harry Potter series, It's okay... Just a tip, watch the movies first before you read the books, otherwise you might be slightly disappointed. However, so far, it is said that the latest movie HP&DH:P1 followed the book, mostly.

Now, I am out of ideas... LOL

I’ve realized I am more creative when I am sad or around sadness. It’s such a pity to feel down all the time. Hence, explains how much of a “Blogging” person I am. For me, ideas can flow anytime. But to put something in words is much more. I like to imagine things. In my own way. If someone else asks me to imagine what they are imagining, well, its in their head, not mine =). But if I understand what they are picturing then that’s a whole different story altogether. I can lose focus very easily. Well, I just into my own day-dream in less than 2 minutes ago. I don’t have anything specific to talk about. Otherwise, I’d had a short post. When there is a topic, (specifically for writing a blog post), I feel more restricted, and I start crapping. If I go with the flow, I end up like now =D. SO, until then.

I hadn't given much thought to what I wanted to do in the future until my friend asked we what I wanted to be when I grew up, or in other words, what is your "ambition"? For me, I thought I had everything planned out, but then again well I tried imagining my future again and again, I never really managed to get a clear view or whether I will be able to support myself. Never thought of it.
The few careers I aspired to. DOCTOR! (As every 7 year old would even though they know not what a doctor does) I WANNA BE A BILLIONAIRE! (So freakin' bad =P) COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEER! (I was "so-called" into computers) FAMOUS!(I thought about it... I don't want others to know more about my life than me) SINGER! (fulfilled... in my head)
Now, I want to be A DIFFERENCE. Its hard to explain. Such a lame idea but its my lame idea =).

Lets just see how all the pieces mesh together =)

The world can be a better place because you are a part of it.

Too often we hear teenagers say that nothing they do makes a difference. You do not have to effect change on a global level to make a difference. You change the world with the daily interactions you have with your family, friends, and people in your community. The simple things you do make the world a better place.

Kindness is a trait that many people seem to be lacking these days. We have all had experiences with road rage, bad customer service or someone who did something that was unkind to us. That is part of life. We do not have to be part of that trend. People remember kindness. You never know what difference a small act of kindness will have on someone else. You will be happier because of the way that you live your life.

Volunteer for a local organization. You do not have to go far to find someone who needs your help. There are organizations in all communities that help the homeless, provide support for battered women, provide daycare for families that are having a hard time, or build houses for those in need. There is a huge need for teens that are willing to help. Volunteer and have an unforgettable experience. When you reach outside of yourself and help someone it is easier to forget your own problems.

Get the education you need to have a successful career. You may have a desire to work in a career field that has the potential to touch many lives. You may touch the lives of your coworkers and customers. It doesn’t matter how far reaching your influence is. What matters is that you have an influence. An educated person is in a much better position to make a difference in the world and determine the avenues that they need to take to make a change.

You have the ability to make the world a better place because you are a part of it.

The small things that may seem insignificant make up our lives. Our actions create our character. Live up to the potential you have and make a difference in the world right where you are. Take Maria as a perfect example. She is making the world a better place, one book at a time. When 10-year-old Maria of Minneapolis asked her mom why all kids don’t read as much as Maria does, her mom explained that not all children have access to books. Maria was astounded. She simply couldn’t believe that there are children in this world who have never owned a book, held a book or even been read to. So, Maria has set out to change this by making the world a better place, one book at a time. It has been one year since Maria, then age 9, announced that she wants to collect and distribute one million books to needy kids by the time she’s 18. And she’s well on her way.

As of June 2010, Maria has collected and distributed more than 300,000 books to kids throughout the world. She is busy holding book drives, sorting books, counting books and orchestrating the delivery and shipping of the books to get them into the hands of children who need them. She loves distributing the books directly to the kids themselves at farmers markets, day cares and other events for children. Thousands of people have been touched by Maria’s zest for reading and her understanding of the important role books play in kids’ lives. Maria is a wonderful angel who will continue to touch many lives.

So, you do not have to be famous to make a difference because you are the difference.

I don't know why it happens but it does. When you are lost, you are totally stranded and have no idea what to do. I keep asking, why do others have the privileges that I don't have? I try and try and no matter how much, it never seems enough. Well, I was a push and a week of torment till I realized at the particular moment that we're all different. We can't have the same things. We are totally different. You may have slightly similar characteristics, but never entirely the same. I can finally(I pray) close this tormenting and heart-tearing and mind-cracking, chapter of my life and look at it as a faded and distant memory. To be rid of this and feel light and free on the inside growing towards faith.

This is how I feel. Ever felt like no matter how much a person says they are okay. You just have a gut feeling that something is wrong. I've always had this similar feeling almost every month for many long painful and cheerful years. Seems as though happiness is just a slight thing that takes place in your life and most of the time, there's worries, regret, and not to mention the guilt for obviously the wrong reasons. All my life, being normal is what I aimed for, being treated like everyone else. I got what I wanted after all, and the "best part", I got more than I bargained for till the pieces that have shattered in me will be lost forever in the fabric of our fragile time-space continuum. Funny how something great and awesome can turn ugly in a split second and then.... crush you right in the middle. I just know something is wrong. But I'm going to be like I've always been and not share what I feel unless I want to. Keep it all away. Locked up in a box. Well, never do that either. Cause then your life would forever be meaningless. Its not called living if there is only one kind of life. So, enjoy life before it fades away. Live life to the fullest and never regret whatever that has been done.

The golden-brown mesh looks some what relaxing and calming to me. Well, I am already odd. Autumn seems just nice with winter coming next. The weather nowadays is just so sweltering hot, a person practically bathes in their sweat. And you feel very sticky. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Definitely the effect of Global Warming lah… Carbon emission increasing like nobody’s business. Even using the computer emits carbon.

I've been away for so long, since 20th July. Wow. Well, its not like anyone read this ~~crap junk~~ blog LOL.
So, what was I doing during the long stretch? Haha... Exam. School. Breathing. Walking. Pretty much what a normal teen did when she woke up to go to school. The last day of school was interesting, but why? I forgot. Haha.

yes. I have psychotic problems. Anybody reading ever heard me laugh? Well, you wouldn't want to, I can tell u that much. Why? Well, let's just say, every hair on your body will start standing.

Btw. I have frequent short term memory loss. That's why when somebody tells me anything, you need to tell me twice or it would just slip out of sight and out of mind.

Holidays! It would be when I got sick!

Well, I spent my weekends mostly away from home..

I watched HBP but among all the movies, I like is PoA.
Why?
This movie and the story is the same but shortened.
So, no Cho Chang, no house elfs like Dobby and Kreacher.
And no funeral..

Well, I wouldn't want to bore anybody..
Basically, it is a nice movie but just shortened and different. Not what expected but it was nice.

Okay.. so it sort of seems like I'm abandoning my blog.. So here I wanna say, unfortunately, to "who ever" reading this blog, I'm gonna be crapping who knows what here for a long time.. [LOL] But I'm guessing this post will be short. So, practically for two whole weeks from 25.6.2009, CNN, BBC, MTV, channel [V] and E! have been the most viewed channels in my house. Haiz.. Why do they have to die young? [yes, 50 is considered young] Other than MJ, we went for a fellow cousin's 21st birthday partay. He had returned from Russia 'cause he went there to study medicine. It was raining cats and dogs when the party was going on. He had an awesome b'day cake. In the middle of the cake was a vodka bottle. Lol. Although I dont like anything to do with alcohol [no offence] I was pretty cool. Lol.~~[BTW. I'm allergic to grapes. [Yea... I know.. WHO CARES?]~~

OMGoodness!!!!! Today's is the premier of Harry Potter HBP in cinema's!!!!!

JSYK they finished filming last year before October.. And it was supposed to air in November 2008.. But due to wanting good response from viewers, they delayed the premier date and shifted it to this year. SO, after viewing 7 trailers, I am totally excited to the movie.. It's actually the hidden meaning under the surface that facinates me. The way the whole story adds-up and comes together truly is amazing. =)

As many would have known or heard in the radio, the all time "King of Pop" best known for his debut song thriller and his one-of-a-kind dance move like the crouch and moonwalk. He passed today[Thursday at about 2.30pm-ish American time]. He was 50. Said to have pass due to cardiac arrest [heart-attack] and his body was sent to undergo an autopsy to search for anything that might have led to cardiac arrest. Many have went out, dancing and singing his songs as a tribute to a legend. As many have said the world has lost a very talented person.

He was supposed to go to London on July 13th for his Final Curtain Call with 50 shows, the tickets sold at 11 seconds per ticket placing a record for the fastest sale. But unfortunately, his curtain call came earlier than expected.

Besides Michael Jackson, the world also lost Farrah Fawcett, another familiar face [Charlie's Angels] also passed after battling cancer.

We might not remember this day,

Its Thursday and this is what I'm going to say;
My KKG is done and now I have to finish my KKS.
I'm confused with some saying "Hey, teacher said we need to bind by tomorrow."
And other saying "Wei, I asked teacher d.. She said nonit to bind yet."

So, conclusion, I'm going to bring my half bind beginning of elemen 2 and the rest of it & elemen1 & elemen3 to school. Then, if teacher approves, I'll hand it in on Saturday.

Okay... School has been having both "Minggu Koperasi" and "Minggu Bahasa". Started on Monday and ends tomorrow I think. Today we had two ceramah's from 7.45am-10.30am* ceramah tatabahasa.

Then from 11.00am-1.05pm* we had "ceramah kesihatan...". Okay, to shorten what happened, don't do abortion, for those few moments watching that video, I think my heart just stopped beating in shock[exagerating] and then suddenly I felt uneasy.. If you're eye-sight was good; whether you're a four-eyed like me or normal, you would know what I mean. Come on lah, the foetus head, hands, legs, body, etc were disconnected lah, like the doctor was holding the "head-only" in their palm..

[My spine continues to tingle and feel the chill of the horror, 50% worst than a horror movie, even a horror movie, mostly its fake, this is REAL!!!!

School re-opened a few days ago and guess what?
Its the second semester people.
What! So fast? Atleast after 14 ++ years I understand why they say Money Is Time.
And don't waste it for Procrastination is a theft of time.

I've already watched Hannah Montana : The Movie, X-Men Origins : Wolverine, Tale of Desperaux, 17 Again, Monsters Versus Aliens, Star Trek, and well, I can't remember what already, lol..
I read Where Rainbows End ; Cecelia Ahern and others...

Had to stay back yesterday 'cause I had kelab and olahraga, and what did we do?
Create steps for senam robik that the school will be having on who knows when?

Somehow, I realized I have been wasting my time crapping.

The funny thing about songs, sometimes you may think you know the lyrics by just listening, and sometimes you don't.

I think about a few weeks ago, I was listening to the radio.
I was 'listening' out for new songs.

Then the usual came along,

Then there was this song by We The Kings.

I was trying to find out what the title of the song was..

I couldnt understand, so I thought it was Jack Ass Juliet..

Then after a few weeks, I had a flash back about the song.

I felt the song title was odd. Who would wanna name a song Jack Ass Juliet.

NO meaning..?

Then I found out the real title.

But for me it sound almost alike.

Then the starting of Womanizer all this while I heard it was "stupid boy"

It was so exciting and made me smile and laugh!

I was clearing out old files in the comp. Then i went to this particular file named___.
So, there were photos of CNY 2004. 5 years ago.
I was suprised when I saw the pics.. I looked so different. Well... In my eyes anyway.

Rumah Mutiara , Rumah Delima had to do running
50 metres and 100 metres [each house took turns]

Then that same day, they had saringan for lompat jauh or long jump.
3K's Best Ketua; Gaayathri : got injured [ Its not her fault]
She sustained an injury ; and yet she still came to school on thursday!

Btw. Rumah Nilam and Rumah Zamrud did lontar peluru and lompat jauh.

Thursday - 19/2/2009

Then we did lontar peluru and lompat jauh.
[all warmed up, ready set, jump!]

Then had 50m hurdles. WITW. The crappy pagar was so high!
when we were practicing, It was like so low!!

Then Phobia washed me fully.
Even all the comfort words like "you can do it" or "haiya sure can jump"
All seemed meaningless at that point.
Then teacher called my name
My heart felt like It was pounding out of my chest and wanted to be set free.
[lol... so dramatic]
Ten, teacher said, Ke garisan, My heart accelerated, a car going 80 miles/hour.
Sedia, Thud thud thud thud thud thud It was like it was hiting the rib cage!
Mula, all of the sudden it did matter if I didnt get in.
I just wanted to not fall down I felt happy and calm all of a sudden..

what an understatement for me.

Then I just wanted to jump over the four pagars.
and I made it dropping one. Atleast not all four!

=)

And then had finals.. Ran again.
This time my body finally responded to the situation and I fell after the 3rd pagar and just walked to the finish line.

But; although I fell on my feet, my thighs, ribcage sides and neck are the parts suffer from pain.[muscle pull] [but I warmed Up!]

So weird.

So, this monday there is saringan for larian.. gotta heal fast before monday!!

Today, Rihanna was supposed to come to KL for her concert but it had to be postponed because of the current hot-issue in the entertainment world.

Expectedly so, Rihanna is taking a timeout after the incident with Chris Brown. Sadly for her Malaysian fans however, this means Rihanna’s KL Concert scheduled this Friday is postponed, a spokesman for show organiser -- Pineapple Concerts -- confirms to E! News, although the information has yet to be updated on Pineapple’s website. Apparently, her family wants her to return to Barbados and be far away from Chris.

“In light of recent events involving Rihanna, [William Morris Agency] will confirm within two weeks from now on a replacement date to be mutually agreed upon by the organiser and the singer’s camp," Pineapple managing director Razman Razali said in a statement.

Rihanna has been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a source says she has been reluctant to reveal to investigators specifically what the couple had been arguing about before it turned physical. But no matter who provoked who, getting physical is not the answer, right? Where is the love, people?

Meanwhile, Chris Brown’s career could be in serious jeopardy as the incident greatly affects his almost squeaky clean reputation. Already, Doublemint has suspended Chris’s Wrigley’s ad. And he stands to lose a lot more.

Did you wake up early this morning to catch the live telecast of Grammy Awards because you wanted to watch Rihanna's performance? She was scheduled to sing Live Your Life/Disturbia but, as we know now, Rihanna was a no-show.
Why? Well, Rihanna pulled out of the Grammy Awards just minutes before the show went on telecast as boyfriend Chris Brown got a police case filed against him for allegedly attacking a woman.
It all started just after midnight when Chris and Rihanna, who attended a pre-Grammy party hosted by Clive Davis, left the soiree.
Police officers then received a 911 call about an incident in which a woman accused Chris of hurting her. However, before the authorities arrive, Chris had left the scene. There were visible wounds on the female victim.
Chris later turned himself in to police and then released from custody on US$50,000 bail.
Authorities have not identified who that woman was, citing confidentiality for victims of domestic abuse. But some media outlet have reported that the woman is, you guessed it, Rihanna. When contacted, Rihanna's publicist issued a vague statement, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for the care and support.”
Scandalous right? But the question on our minds right now is... Will Rihanna stage her much-anticipated show in Kuala Lumpur this Friday?

The answer is no. But It has been postponed.

Rihanna suffers a swollen split lip, two red and purple contusions on either side of her forehead and several bite marks on her body.
After Wrigley dropped him, Chris's Milk ad has also been pulled from publication. Several radio stations in America have also stopped spinning his songs.
And if you are waiting to see a mugshot of Chris, that might not happen. It seems that if one is arrested within Los Angeles city limits, mugshots are not released to the public unless the individual poses a threat to the public.

As usual there were "ucapans" ad we stood in the hall until it was past 8.00 am.

From that-- we missed Sejarah again. =(
Science lesson, in the end we didnt watch the lcd projection.. anyways if I watch I would have a hard time trying to keep my eyelids open, although my mind is dreaming about the human anatomy and I find the human heart facinating.
[I have no idea why?]

Next, ~~yellow~~ Mutiara hse practice today had to run hurdles or lompat pagar and there was a girl that was forcing and shouting at us to run. -Ran.. and after running a few round, the last one[i think the third hurdle] I fell but luckily my hand took the impact and broke my fall.

I am going to do my seni after this.

Yesterday - Stayed back and did my homework. During rumah practice, we did long jump*I managed to pass the 1st line* and running. *I couldnt stop panting & I ran without my glasses* [yes I have bad eye-sight]

Had to walk up the jambatan with 5 bags - 1 school bag , 3 plastic-paper bags, and 1 cloth-paper bag.
6 if I include my water tumbler holder. [Owh-ch]

Came home and Ate rice like I hadnt eaten branch. [Yum-yum]

Watched The inuaguration of Barack Obama.

Today - During school, BM teacher gave us novel test. [only got 5 minute left, so many questions simply answer!] Becky didnt come to school. So had to write down all the homework for her. =)

Maths was very interesting today, literally. The circles all got colour on the board. Normally the ~~green~~ blackboard will look dull with just white chalk scribbles and residue on it.

Geografi, we learn bearing. I only learned about 8 arah mata angin [thats how much I knew] but aparently there are 16 arah mata angin.

// There was an incident where Sis, Karmen and I went for Youth Rally and I put an alarm set at 5.00am cause there was only 1/6 cubicle that hand a water heater in it and over 100- ppl were supposed to share the toilet. Turns out the alarm rang but instead woke up the whole dorm but me, and it was right beside me.
Either I was to in Dreamland or I didnt clean my ears properly that week.

Hey,

15th-So as usual we had home work to do,
and I had to go and find some info on bill gates for psk.

I went for tuition and we finished learning chapter 1 form3 : Respiration.
The room was packed -- almost every seat was full from the front row to the back.
Why almost? some of the Chair/table at the side of the wall nearer to the front wasnt filled.

16th-Did the usual.

17th-(now)Anyways, did my research on bill gates at midnight , so technically I editied to this post and saved it [but forgot to post it.]

Bsides that, there is school this Saturday, that will be waking up at 5.30 am for 7 days straight [yes sunday included] Haih..

Wow...

First, I have to say that I'd ~~completely~~ nearly forgotton about my only living *being updated* blog.
Second, I have to say " Sorry blog"!
Almost any other person put a New Year post...

Mine totally out-dated. Since 22nd of December 2008 *sighs*

I just can't believe this is the 1st time I put a new post in my ~~already pitiful~~ blog.

Thrid, Happy Be-late-ted Christmas and A Less Be-lated New Year..
Well, better late than never, right?
Or at least from the way I see it.

So, what's been going on with me?

December 2008

23rd - Did the normal boring routine. Wrapped many presents for christmas.

24th-Clean the house. Marianne went to get her already straight hair straighter for Christmas [temporary rebonding]. At night we had Christmas Eve Dinner at Amachi's house. Then went to ST.Anne's Church.
Came back at I guess 11.30 pm and waited patiently to receive presents while Marianne and Karmen take non-stop candid photos of each other. Each sitting completely far from each other in the hall.

25th-We opened presents. Yay!!! Got my Christmas Wish! 2 Story Books!! Tq - Mummy, Daddy, Marianne and Matthew[who i doubt knew about the books] At about 2.00-3.00 am We pack our things to sleepover at Amachi's hse. We - Me, Marianne, KT, Karmen and Tasha played Monopoly and eventually gave up cause Everyone were like buying everything on the board.

Then everyone zzZZzzZZ...

Woke up at 8.30 am in the morning and had to rush...rush...rush... to go to church. TABS choir singing and I was the cantor!! -*Sighs* *In church heart beating so fast I can feel it pounding against my chest screaming " GET ME OUT!!!!"*
*I know I'm gonna totally embrass myself but I have to do it*

Anyways, 25th Dec... Clean the hse again -- Had BBQ party that night -Family and Marianne's Friends.
I was so darn sick every minute I would have loved to sit beside the toilet bowl and hurl.

And guess wat, I went to see a doctor[10.00 pm] and the appointment was like less than 5 minutes.. Normally the docs will dily-dally and ask to many questions.
I was sick because of "Gastric". When The Dr. said that I momentarily stred blankly at hime and said,'Huh?'.
I mean come on.. Me .. Have gastric .. I eat more than I should!

Everybody will be like, " Hey girl why are u so skinny?" or " Your parents never give you any food arh" or
"You know girl you should eat more, come you must go for second round."

Anyways back to reality, I had to take meds again like I didnt take enough.
After the appointment me, mummy and daddy went home where everyone was having fun at the BBQ.
Read Eclipse, then slept.

26th- Didnt do much really, I felt way better than I had the day before though. Sleepover at Amachi's. Watched The X-files where Scully will be frozen and all. And played Cluedo *latest edition* TQ The 3 K's !!

27th- Went to Penang, Chitti Regi's residence. Went swimming in the afternoon and played with the slide.
Had party here pulak. Family and some friends only. Slept-over at Chitti Regi's hse.Played Taboo.

28th- Woke up, bathe, change, ate. Then went to Gurney to watch YES MAN. Hilarious. Also went to an arcade before the show. At night had BBQ party 4 KT's going-of-to-america -to study- Kat's friend(s) came. Played games. Then slepted.

29th- Ate cendol at Penang Road. Came back to BM. Read Eclipse.

30th-The usual.. Can't really remember what I did.

31th- Read Breaking Dawn.Clean hse. Got ready for New Year. Went to Church for New Year's Eve Mass.
Marianne was furious with me cause she had to wear a skirt and I got to wear

1st- Happy New Year-*represent Jesus Christ Age*
Drank Sparkling Juice. Daddy filled house with Incense and Mryyh.

Finish Reading Breaking Dawn Early in the morning!!!! at 3.00am If I'm Not Mistaken.

Went to Penang and and New Year's Lunch at Chitti Regi's Residence. Watched water horse.

2nd- Went to Sunway to watch bedtime stories. The guinea pig's eye's so huge. Ate at Nando's. [Tapao balik to eat]. Rushed to Piano teacher's Hse cause teacher change lesson from 6.00pm to 5.00 pm.
I was still in Sunway at 4.30 pm!!!

3rd-Went to Jusco.. Bought some stuff. At night.--Ate Char Koay Teow in Sentosa. And drank Soya Bean.
Went uncle's hse.Slept.

4th- Went to church. Went for Cathecism. Went home. then Marianne went back to KL. Ask Mum and Dad to buy Last minute school supplies

10th- Did ntg much.

11th- Went to church. Went for Cathecism. Came home. Ate lunch. Did the usual. Packed bag, Iron uniform, read Book, Slept.

12th-Woke up. Went to school. Had Assembly. Teachers came and did their "Ucapan(s)"
Went to class. School Finished at 1.50pm, so dad fetched me.
went home, and did homework and got ready for tuition.
Ate dinner and then went for tuition.
Came home, packed my bag, iron uniform, read book and slept.

13th(yesterday)- did the usual and went to school. stayed back cause had rumah Mutiara [kuning] practice.
ate lunch twice.1st- coconut bun 2nd- A huge packet of rice with a huge-er piece of chicken wing. Did my homework. Changed into my Yellow hse shirt and cbm track bottom. Went and sat at the small taman bside the toilet. At 4.30 pm went for hse practice and just lontar a metal ball that is heavier that my arm and bigger that my fist.
We talked throughout the hse practice. Dad fetched at 6.00pm and I slept all the way home.then came home and sleep summore. LoL
Packed bag again and when everything was okay watched CSI:NY took noni and went to sleep.

14th(today)-Did the usual again Came home at 2.00pm instanty did my homework and finished homework at 4.30pm. Watched iCarly and ate at the same time. Then I flipped through the channels and didnt find anything interesting to watch at 5.00pm so I switched of the TV and came up to use the comp until now! Wow.. That was a lot to type about!
anyways it is 7.50 pm now and I'm gonna turn off the computer before my mum starts yelling at me cause I havent eaten Dinner yt.

After this I am going to eat, Pack my bag, watch tv, iron my uniform, read book and sleep.

15th- Tomorrow, In Addition Happy Brithday Komalaa!!
Ur birthday is on the 15th and Ur gonna be 5th teen!

So.. for the past week.. I have been cleaning, and helping mummy make cookies.

Then went out a couple of times.

That was my week.. And had many times been irritated by my little act-innocent brothers.

Wow.. I havent been blogging 4 exactly 1 week and a day.

Well.. nothing extraordinary or exciting really happened.

A few things did happen like:

Me, sis and karmen had sleepover after 1 year.

Put up the christmas tree already!! But some how I feel the decor on the tree is too little. If you look at the tree, you might think i'm mad

I read two Stephanie Meyer books - Twilight[5days] and New Moon[2days] *finished*

and the weirdest part is Twilight had less pgs than NewMoon. It was like I was I imagining the Movie in my mind only not quite as real. Haha, somehow I feel excited reading in such an odd manner. Oh.. Nvm.

After not blogging I realized a few things about movies..

Especially those based on books best sellers.

The story and the movie are similar and Different in many ways.

The flow of the story is the same. But the story bit.

Eg.

In the book Marrieta is the one who spilled the beans about the DA.. Not Cho Chang!

so.. back to what I did during the holidays.

Friday 30/11 - Sunday 1/12

I woke up got ready... bathe etc..

Then dad checked-out of the hotel.

Then we went on with our journey to KL-then Malacca.

Stopped at as I call it "Cave of the Gods, Valley of Wonders" located at Gunung Rapat.[Ipoh, Peark]

When into many temples/caves.

One of it is called Sam Poh Tong.
Then fetch sis from KL. THen went to Malacca and enjoyed ourselves.

Well, while we went site-seeing, as usual we took some pics...

So... the holidays started already..

I didn't do much throughout the 1st week of the holidays..

Went shopping.. Watch Tv.. EAT.. Sleep.. Visit the to-i-let go of the faeces'.

Well.. basically i survived.. LOL

Anyways... its friday 28/11/08
and i'm going to eat kuew kah *I think **cos' I don't know how to spell it* 4 breakfast.

Then i started packing my bags to hit the road..
*NO! I did not get thrown out of the house, my family, dad, mum, bro, granma, and I, went for a vacation.
Well.. It was last week actually

Thursday 20/11

Woke up.. bathed.
I got dressed and went for check up at hospital.

In the hospital

Put appointment book in a plastic container with 8.00 am taped on it.
Then went to ~~take~~ give blood.. Well.. I did a blood test.
As usual when it was my turn, the nurse call "MICHAEL TAN"!
And I mumbled.. " I've been coming here for so..so..so.. long *12 years to be exact* and they can't get the name correct for once.
Walk into the room.. together with 3 others..
And when it was my turn the nurse asked " Nak ambil tangan mana?" I replied, " Tangan kiri".
*Btw I didnt feel any pain or anything.. As usual*

Then went to get my height and weight test.

Height : 156 cm *hmm.. I grew taller!*
Weight : 35 kg *I'm Heavier! YAY!*

Then waited to see the doctor... After that went home..
Then went to Ipoh.
During the journey, watched movie, bro played gameboy, and slept *in the afternoon*.
Stop by at aunts house. Had lunch and dropped granma there.
Then went to check-in at the hotel. Sat on chair and waited.
There settled down and went to a Japanese Garden. Then went to a huge park.

Then went to eat at JUSCO Ipoh and shopped there.

Then went back to the hotel, wash-up, watched TARA Season Finale on AXN *THK GUDNESS the channels included AXN*

Then watched CHUCK i think... and zzZZzzZZzz.

Finally we ended the last day of school in the afternoon session for the students of 2 Kurshiah 2008.

This is practically what my friend, Ann Jill, wrote on the blackboard in the 3K class *we kinda tumpang their class cause currently there is SPM so the block our class is in is well.. Blocked*

Merdeka. 10 seconds till end our afternoon session. well, it slipped away from my mind * what she wrote on the wall.. And I've been home from school like an hour ago.

We came to school as usual.. I was in a dilemma *dont ask*.
Sweeped 3K's floor clean.

Then a few of us sat in the class and just talked. Then Cherlyn ask us to return our BM OMR *bulat ABCD* test ppr. Which BTW was *the results* Not good. Some ppl were lyk " Hey, I never bring my ppr, then how leh?"-"Wei, who ask u to kutip 1, u got bring ah? I tot we nonit bring our ppr. Haiyo"

Then at around 2.30-3.30

"Eh, Pizza come d ah?"
"Yo, hungry d lah."
"Eh, Come d lah. I tot u said the guy handsome, not handsome also lah"
"U go and check ah? "
"Eh, when lah wanna eat... Eh come go and see"

Then all went around. Running up and down.

When it was time to enter to feast...

"Eh, dont enter yet.. must wait for teacher to come."
"Wah, gt so many *countable* presents. Eh but then all so small one.. Nah there gt one big one"

Then teacher, Cik Salfarina, Cut a yellow colour ribbon with a match scissors with a yellow ribbon.
Cred to Sinead who tied the ribbon.

Then teachers came including PENGETUA.

All said party n food very nice.
Before that all rushing to get:

1st all the seats were taken then I saw a seat so I sat down,
who knew I was the only one sitting a that table. How pathetic.
Then when I was half way through 1/4 of my pizza, my friend Rebecca invited me to sit beside her.

So I was stuck with a Pink colour gas drink that tasted lyk medicine. Then after eating/during the party, we had a lucky draw. Thats where the SMALL PRESENTS come in.

Gaayathri - My Funny, Outgoing Ketua - Was the one who read out all the names
Caryn - My Great Penolong Ketua - Gave away the prizes
Fiona - One of the Smart, Outgoing Prefect and organizer that Madam D says look lyk Japanese - drew the names from the lucky draw box

Min Yee and Karine Chaw made noise using bottles *supposed to sound lyk drum roll I think*

Then we played with lots...lots...lots... lots... lots... lots... lots... lots... lots...of ice.
Then put in each other baju some more. Wow...
Then Jill go ask who feel hot the squeeze a plastic bag with ice water on their head and face.

In the padang

We played limbo only we used rafia string and tied it to a net-less goal.
then we went low.. low.. low..
then bought a bag of ice and put it in ppl's baju.

Then we cleaned up the Ping-Pong Table Area.

Then we took the tub containing ice to the padang and played with it.
Filled it with water and pour water on each other * well to those who were there*
Then we took pics...

Then Ann Jill all asked Gaaya I think to pour water on our head when we all stand head facing the ground and close together. Poor Pooshi tot they were gonna take a picture when instead they poured cold water on our heads. FYI it was SO refreshing.

Then went to class, those who were in the class were lyk

Guess who?

Then we started near the pipe also lah...

Then we all gather in class to count down from 10 - 1, shout merdeka, hooray, happy b'day to those whose b'days are during the school holidays.

The story is different than the first two movies.

Its their (Troy, Gabbriella, Chad, Taylor, Ryan, Kelsi, Sharpay and friends) last year in East High.

Gabbriella get a letter of early enrollment into Stanford. Troy finds it hard with the drama, prom and graduation just around the corner with Gabbriella thousands of miles apart from him.

Ryan, Kelsi, Sharpay, and .... Troy get an opportunity to get a scholarship from Julliards Academy of Arts (I think thats whats its called) but only one of them will get the scholarship. But in the end, two out of four of them will get the scholarship. *to find out who, watch the movie *LOL

Troy is torn between going to UA (University of Alburquerque) or all the other colleges who had given him letters of recommendation to enter their college.

How lovely the American high school experience might be if it offered even a smidgen of the euphoria that spirals “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” into a candy-colored never-never land that Peter Pan might envy.

In making the leap from Disney Channel to the big screen, the third chapter of the phenomenally popular franchise crystallizes a moment in movie-musical history that is probably as evanescent as it is triumphant. If you recall all that hyperbolic talk in the ’80s about music videos spurring a full-scale revival of the movie musical — a revival that fizzled after “Footloose” and “Flashdance” — here it is (without frantic MTV-style editing). Or was. “High School Musical 4” has already been announced. But whether the franchise can continue after the major characters graduate is open to question. Quirky new characters are introduced. But are they stars?

Much of the success of the “High School Musicals” owes to the shrewd mixing and matching of proven formulas, augmented by the charisma of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens as the dewy-eyed puppy lovers Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez. Mr. Efron’s athletic grace is Astaire-like in its casual authority. Ms. Hudgens’s blissful smiles melt the screen.

The taken-for-granted ethnic diversity of the students at East High in Albuquerque, the franchise’s unlikely setting, comes from “Fame.” So does the craving for show business glory expressed in “I Want It All,” belted by the movie’s resident not-so-nasty mean girl, Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale), a teenager so ambitious she would steal the scene off your back.

Most of the 10 songs in “High School Musical 3” belong to a boy-band tradition that runs from New Kids on the Block through the Backstreet Boys to the Jonas Brothers. The best of the score’s several songwriters are the team of Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, whose auto junkyard anthem, “The Boys Are Back,” echoes Thin Lizzy’s 1976 hit “The Boys Are Back in Town” filtered through Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” and is frenziedly performed by a male chorus executing post-break-dance acrobatics on the hoods of rusted cars. The genre, which might be described as sugarcoated bubblegum hip-hop, may be disposable, but it is extremely catchy and rhythmically elastic.

The all-purpose choreography by the director Kenny Ortega and his collaborators mixes up Rockettes-like kick lines, angular writhing in the style of “Cats,” break dancing and accelerated ballroom moves. (Mr. Efron does an impeccably suave waltz.) In one number, Mr. Ortega even quotes his own choreography from Madonna’s “Material Girl” video. My favorite dance number is the triumphal title song, performed on a playing field where the lines of dancers ripple like a human roller coaster.

All very sweet, you say. But what does it all mean?

To which I would reply: Does it have to mean anything beyond the pleasure of entering a dream of high school harmony?

So what if these wholesome singing-and-dancing characters include no teenagers you or I will ever meet? If you dropped the term “friends with benefits” to any of these absurdly idealized youth who appear to have descended from the same planet that produced “The Brady Bunch,” you may rest assured they wouldn’t know what you were talking about. The only things on their minds besides basketball and musical comedy are choosing a prom date and a college to attend. There are wistful moments, but no sulky ones. The one lingering kiss is delicate.

The movie’s cleverest notion is its portrayal of sports and musical comedy as interchangeable. In the sensational opening number, “Now or Never,” East High’s Wildcats trounce their rivals to hip-hop beats and semi-rapped chants shouted by the cheerleaders and players alike.

Whether to choose sports or musical comedy, that is the burning question facing Troy, who has been planning to accompany his best friend, Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu), to “U. of A.,” as it is called, and play basketball. But when the school’s fluty-voiced drama teacher, Ms. Darbus (Alyson Reed), announces to Troy’s shock that he is one of four students being considered for a scholarship to Juilliard, he is thrown into a quandary. As he ponders his future, the movie slips in an argument for musical theater as a more-than-O.K. activity for all-American guys; after all, it is another sport.

The other small conflicts in Peter Barsocchini’s story (the weakest of his three “High School Musical” plots) are hardly worth mentioning. KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia has allowed Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne to hold a concert ahead of the country's independence day celebrations, reversing a decision to bar the performance following protests by an Islamist party.
The decision to allow the August 29 concert in Kuala Lumpur was taken at a cabinet meeting after studying the assurances given by the concert organizer, Bernama quoted Arts and Culture Minister Mohamad Shafie Apdal as saying.
The government had previously asked Lavigne's promoters to change the date of the concert after the opposition, Parti se-Islam Malaysia, objected to it, saying that mainly Muslim Malaysia should not ape Western values and cultures.
Although Malaysia, which marks its 51st year of independence from Britain on August 31, is a moderate Muslim country with sizeable non-Muslim minorities, conservative groups often frown upon departures from strict interpretations of the Koran.
"In giving the approval, the cabinet also instructed the (arts and culture) ministry to monitor the concert to ensure that the performances do not clash with the Malaysian culture and values," Shafie was quoted as saying.
Last October, U.S. R&B star Beyonce Knowles axed her debut concert in Malaysia in protest against the country's ultra-strict dress code and over fears of a Muslim outcry over her show.
But a year ago, U.S. singer Gwen Stefani performed in Malaysia despite calls from Muslim students to cancel the concert because they deemed it too obscene.

Pop singer Avril Lavigne will be allowed to perform in Malaysia despite concerns her show is "too sexy".

Fundamentalist opposition group the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party had said Lavigne's shows were unsuitable for a Muslim-majority country.

The government then cancelled her concert on 29 August fearing disruption to independence day celebrations.

A government minister would not explain the turnaround but said there had been talks with the concert organisers.

Muzahet Masruri, secretary-general of the Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry, told the AP news agency the gig organisers had told the government they had already sold thousands of tickets and that the cancellation could hurt tourism.

When cancelling the show earlier this week, the government denied the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party had influenced their decision to stop Lavigne performing.

Lavigne, 23, whose hits include Complicated and Girlfriend, is planning to launch her month-long Asia tour in Kuala Lumpur.

Lavigne is not the only singer to have encountered problems when wanting to perform in Malaysia.

Last year, R&B singer Beyonce moved her show from Malaysia to Indonesia.

Christina Aguilera missed the country out of an Asia tour amid controversy over a dress code for foreign artists.

Official guidelines about performances in Malaysia state that female artists must cover up from the top of the chest to the knees.

Performers are also forbidden from jumping, shouting or embracing members of the audience.

US group The Pussycat Dolls were censured by the Malaysian authorities for flouting the regulations at a concert last year.

"Well, I've actually been approved by the government to play a show," she said. "I've already sold 10,000 tickets there, so I will be going to put on a concert for the fans.

"I respect that, but at the same time, you know, there's people that listen to music there and want to see their idols and stuff, so it's all good: been approved by the government and [I'm] going to go put on a show and have fun."

Malaysia's Islamic opposition party, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, had been trying to cancel or postpone a Lavigne show scheduled for the country's capital on August 29 saying her moves and stage show were "too sexy." The party took offense with the pop singer taking the stage and possibly promoting the wrong values just days ahead of the country's independence day on August 31.

The flap over the Lavigne show wasn't the first time the country's officials had looked negatively at a show by a Western female pop singer. In the past, they forced Gwen Stefani to cover up her world-famous belly, drove Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera to neighboring shores to avoid a hassle and rang up several thousand dollars in fines against a Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 for flouting decency rules.

All along, the promoter of the Lavigne concert, Galaxy Productions, had said that the show would not have any "negative elements." Malaysia requires performers to be covered from chest to knees and avoid clothes that feature obscene or drug-related images, as well as eschewing any jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing onstage.

Lavigne's manager, Terry McBride, said Thursday that Canada's punky pop princess is going ahead with her pink-hued show in the conservative country, despite media reports that have suggested otherwise.

"We're going ahead with the concert," McBride said from Vancouver.

"I think the media has made a whole lot of nonsense out of absolutely nothing and has gone on speculation and gossip," he said of recent reports that the performance had been canned.

"We've been respecting the process and making sure we have all the proper permits."

Meanwhile, reports from the region continue to cite that Malaysia's Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry has refused to permit the Aug. 29 show in Kuala Lumpur because it was "too sexy". Others complained that it was scheduled too close to the country's day of independence, on Aug. 31.

Variety reported Wednesday that the government asked that a new date be chosen for the show but none had been set. Earlier reports had said the show had been cancelled outright.

McBride would not comment on whether the date had been changed. The tour schedule on Lavigne's website still lists the Kuala Lumpur show as taking place Aug. 29.

Lavigne told MTV News on Thursday that she plans to put on a good performance for her Malaysian fans.

"I've already sold 10,000 tickets there, so I will be going to put on a concert for the fans," Lavigne said in the interview, posted at mtv.com.

While insisting Thursday that the show will go on, McBride refused to say whether Lavigne would have to change her attire or set list in accordance with the country's strict Islamic culture.

Malaysia requires all performers to wear clothes without obscene or drug-related images and be covered from the chest to the knees. They must also refrain from jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing on stage.

Kuala Lumpur (dpa) - Malaysia cancelled a concert by Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne with just one week's notice, saying her act would not instill "good culture" in the youth, a minister said Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Canadian pop star was scheduled to hold her first concert in the Muslim-majority nation August 29 in the capital Kuala Lumpur.

The timing of the concert, two days before the country's independence day and just ahead of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, was a chief reason for the cancellation, Shafie Apdal, minister of unity, culture, arts and heritage, was quoted as saying by the Star online news portal.

Shafie said Lavigne's act would be unsuitable alongside local cultural performances during the National Day celebrations.

Concert organizers insisted over the weekend that the show would go on, in spite of calls by certain groups to cancel the performance.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Avril Lavigne concert in Stadium Merdeka, here, on Aug 29 has been cancelled.

Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Shafie Apdal said that the concert falls during the nation's independence period and was not a suitable time to hold such a concert.

There are a lot of events on Aug 29 and the Ministry does not want the independence and the near Ramadan month to be filled with such pop and rock culture, he said.

"As the Minister of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage, we should be instilling good culture in the young but here we are allowing other parties to organise things," he said Wednesday after launching the IDeAS for enhancing Integrity book.

Moreover, the organisers were promoting the event even before they got approval from the relevant agencies, he said.

"All organisers, local and foreign, should adhere to the rules and regulations before promoting the concert and selling tickets to the public," he said, adding that Lavigne's organisers should have sought advice from the Kuala Lumpur City Council or the Ministry.

Asked if he knew why they had promoted the concert before it was approved, he said he did not know.

Asked if the Ministry's decision was in response to PAS Youth's call for cancellation, he said "no."

The organisers are expected to meet officials of the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry Thursday.

"We are optimistic that the ministry officials will listen to our appeals as there is support for the concert,'' a spokesman said.

It is understood that no official notice has been sent to the organisers, Galaxy Productions, on the status of the concert despite media reports that it has been called off.

Connie never had singing lessons of any kind. She learnt naturally through her own karaoke machine, how amazing is this a 6 year old who can sing with the perfect pitch and is cute at the same time? At this point in time she is already being told shes going to be the next charlotte church, and i think we all believe the judges and people who are quoting this.

She wowed both the audience and judges with her amazing perfomance on the ITV show Britans Got Talent, when Simon Cowell said and I quote “Connie I’m going to speak to you like an adult” both connies mum and the audience said “awww”. News and sources over the internet quote that Connie will earn around 1 million pound in the next 12 months.

Simon Cowell the 47 year old pop mogul was so impressed with Connie’s performance that he agreed to sign her up for the seven-figure deal with his own record label. Although all the attention from the press, Connie is still standing firm on her feet.

After progressing to the third of the semi-finals, Connie declined a celebratory restruant dinner, in favour a fish and chip shop tea at there three bedroom home in Sutton Coldfield, with all the family in to including her parents, Sharon & Gavin, 14 year old brother Josh and sister Mollie.

Connie even kept the TV show a secret from anyone outside of the family knowing, even her school teachers and best friends she wanted to “steal the performance”, the first her teachers knew about the television debut staring Connie, was when they watched it themselves. All Connies friends where always talking to Connie in school asking her what it was like on TV.

While Connie is so desperate to take Simon up on his 1million pound contract, Connies mum a part time utility worker is less enthusiatic about letting Connie sign the contract. Connies mum quoted “I’m a big worrier,” she said. She also quoted “I never wanted this attention for Connie”.

Connies mum Sharon, bought her daughter the karaoke machine because the family was having money troubles and could not afford singing lessons for the daughter, while it all unraveled that Connie only discover she could sing in tragic circumstances, her grandmonther, Violet, was diagnosed with breast cancer.”When her grandma was really ill in bed, Connie used to sing the DVD to the Wizard of Oz to her, to cheer her up.

Despite the fact that Cameron was pushed to the background in season four (to the overwhelming dismay of her fans), the relationship between House and Cameron has always been there. However, though many might say that it doesn't exist on a romantic level, their story has been told subtly, which makes their relationship unique.

It is through interactions with Cameron that we see glimpses of House's humanity. House has shared some of the most intimate details of his life with Cameron, such as revealing to her willingly what his parents are like and describing his relationship with them. We have seen him be sincere and caring without prompting another character, exemplified when House says to Cameron that he is proud of her and also when Cameron disclosed to House about her husband in college.

House has always given his most endearing and intense looks to Cameron—whether it is in the hallway in "No Reason" or the look they share when Cameron helps House with his arm sling in "Whac-A-Mole." They always share intense gazes throughout the series indicating that there is a something beyond the surface that has yet to be explored.

Cameron has accepted House for who he is and has defended him numerous times to her fellow ducklings and even to Wilson and Cuddy, who always have plans for teaching House humility—Cameron to Cuddy: "Why does he need to be like other people?"

Although it may seem that House and Cameron's relationship will go no further than colleagues, it is evident that there is something more now that Cameron has become more confident and stronger. I would love to watch a relationship between these two unique characters and see how much more we can learn about them and how their relationship will blossom.

And if all else fails, we just have to remember that House kissed back!

"Thou and I are too wise to woo peaceably." Benedick and Beatrice from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing may be my most favorite literary couple. They are intelligent, quick-witted, passionate and, perhaps most importantly, they carry quite the healthy respect for one another. Little about them is sappy. They know where they stand in the world and aren't afraid to speak their minds. The only thing I hate about their story is that it was only able to last 200 pages. Therefore, one must turn to modern couples on television to fill the void that Benedick and Beatrice have left behind. As it happens, I've only found one such couple to sate my need for snappy snark: Gregory House and Lisa Cuddy.

While I respect and understand the other House ships, it's very hard for me to imagine House with anyone but Cuddy...No one has come closer than Cuddy to understanding how House's mind works—not even Wilson, as was evident after House's ketamine treatment and during the Tritter drama. She gets that he's never going to fit the mold, no matter how hard anyone tries to get him to, and she respects that. And how could anyone doubt the love Cuddy has for House after that smile at the end of the episode "Ugly"? Or how she was holding his hand at the end of "Wilson's Heart"?

And House loves Cuddy. He keeps her secrets, as we saw during her baby arc. He protects her, as seen in "The Right Stuff" when he wouldn't tell her what he was doing with his patient so that she wouldn't be liable. And he respects her. No man would stand up to Cuddy like he does if he didn't realize that he could lose every argument.

House and Cuddy are not the perfect couple, but what couple is? I think, especially after the events of "House's Head" and "Wilson's Heart," House is going to need someone in his life who accepts him for who he is and understands how he thinks. That person is Lisa Cuddy.

In the season-four episode "Don't Ever Change," Wilson wonders what about his relationship with Amber is bothering House so much. Later agreeing that Amber is the female "proxy" for House, Wilson tells him, "Why not date you? It's perfect. We've known each other for years, we've put up with all kinds of crap from each other, and we keep coming back! We're a couple!"

There's a history in television of best friends slowly becoming something more, from The Wonder Years to Friends. The romantic coupling of House and Wilson transforms the strongest relationship on the show to an even more dramatically rewarding one. It's a logical progression: House and Wilson already form the most entertaining, enduring couple of House. If the plot of last season's finale and the 16 million viewers who tuned in prove anything, it's that the way House's friendship with Wilson evolves is of interest to the show's fans. Their friendship could also be a foundation for the most complex, captivating romance primetime has seen in years.

More importantly, a mutual respect exists between the two doctors that House rarely affords anyone else. Wilson can match House's wits, often providing the clue that solves the week's case, and together they pepper the show with humorous banter and penetrating insight that showcases their chemistry and understanding of one another. Viewers know for certain that House is invested in Wilson's welfare: Numerous subplots revolve around House's preoccupation with Wilson's love life. For four years, we've watched House radiate jealousy towards Wilson's girlfriends and wives, most notably (but not exclusively) in episodes where Cuddy and Amber are seen as his competition. When Wilson lied in season three about having slept with Cuddy, House looked crestfallen—the same look he wore a year later when discovering the identity of Wilson's new girlfriend, Amber. It's not the women House wants to have to himself.

House's feelings for Wilson are evidenced subtly in episodes like "Family" and "Fools for Love," but more acutely by his uncharacteristic "I love you" to Wilson in "97 Seconds." That affection is one of the few reciprocated feelings of the series.

Between House and Wilson, unending loyalty abounds while tension roils beneath the surface—all the necessary elements are there for a classic friends-turned-lovers story to finally provide House with that elusive happiness he's been missing.

The release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been pushed back by eight months, to July 2009.

The sixth instalment of the teenage wizard's adventures was supposed to have its Royal premiere on 17 November.

Alan Horn, president of studio Warner Bros, said the decision was taken to guarantee the studio a major summer blockbuster in 2009.

He also blamed the Hollywood writers' strike, which hit the film industry hard earlier this year.

Mr Horn said the strike, which ended in February, had "impacted the readiness of scripts for other films."

Fantasy books

He said: "The picture is completely, absolutely, 100% on schedule, on time. There were no delays.

"I've seen the movie. It is fabulous. We would have been perfectly able to have it out in November."

The move will mean a two-year delay between the film adaptations of books five and six in JK Rowling's fantasy series.

But it will shorten fans' wait between Half-Blood Prince and the final two instalments of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which are being shot simultaneously next year.

It is thought actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson - who is celebrating getting straight As in her A Levels in English literature, geography and art - will reprise their roles.

The release date for part one is tentatively set for November 2010.

Royal performance

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince had been chosen for this year's Royal Film Performance, on 17 November.

Last year's performance was cancelled amid controversy about the chosen movie, Brick Lane.

It was the first time the annual gala - held in aid of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) - had been scrapped since 1958.

CTBF chief executive Peter Hore told BBC News he was "very disappointed" with the decision to shelve the Potter premiere.

But he was hopeful a Royal premiere would still go ahead this year.

He said: "The Royal Film Performance has been around for a long time and has a tradition of showcasing the best films. We are confident we will be able to do that again this year."

Mr Hore added that he expected to make an announcement shortly.
